A Great Place To Air.....

Driving South along Back Rd. traveling just outside the small town of Polson is a nice off-leash dog park. It looks as if the park is fenced and includes the west side of the Pablo Reservoir providing some water for your canine to take a dip. Enjoy a good run and stretch in the countryside!

Retrieverland the site of Series 1- 4 is now available to air your canines.

We are done for the day.

We will resume with test dog at 6:30 am and the running dog at 7:00 am

There are 13 more dogs to compete in Series 5 in the am.

There will be NO FOOD WAGON at Valhalla in the am. the chuck wagon will be at test site #2 awaiting our arrival.

Series 6 will be at Test Site # 2 Bill McKnight's property

Callbacks for Series 5 will be given at the Test Site #2 Series 6 Blind

RR: ran the left bank 1/2 way down jumped in the pond on a good path to the bird to exit and step on the bird!!!

LR: traveled a true path to the area and put his nose on it

RF: made three tights circles then got it!

RR: jumped in the pond swam past the point to the left shore got out where the guns stood, hunted the holding blind the hillside then crossed over the point to the area to retrieve the bird.

RR:ran the left bank staying dry, hunted the holding blind and the hillside near the guns before breaking into the water swimming back and fourth hunting to eventually hit the area of the fall to retrieve the bird.

RR: got in 1/2 way down the left shore, cont. to swim past the point, got out on the left shore where the gunners were standing, hunted the whole hillside near the holding blind before working down to the watersedge to cross over to the point to retrieve the bird.

LR: pushed off the LF veering wide left of the station climbed the hillside made a few passes deep before getting to the area to retrieve the bird.

RR: ran down the left-side of the pond until even with the point, jumped into the pond swam to the point and put her nose on the bird.

The sun is beaming down on us with intensity at a temperature of 82'F  The high is reported to be 86'F with winds out of the East at 4 mph. Although there is suppose to be wind it has been non-existent for the last hour making this mountain climate very dusty!

LR: traveled a bit wide left veering toward the area to scoop up the bird.

RR: traveled right hand bank 1/2 down the pond, jumped into the water, angling toward the area to exited and put his nose on it.

LF: est a hunt just short of the fall but worked deep for a quick retrieve

LR: drove past the gun station a bit but turned to the area to complete the retrieve

RF: ran over the top of the bird driving deep to the adjacent hillside making several passes before retrieving the bird.

RR: swam to the end of the pond, exiting driving the hill, made a big loop to the left and inward to the point into the area to make the retrieve.
